By Air
Flights from most European cities go to Lisbon's Portela Airport, or to Faro or Oporto. Portugal's national airline,
TAP,

By Train
There are two main rail routes, one from Paris and one from Madrid.
Daily international trains run between Paris-Lisbon ( Sud Express ),
crossing the frontier at Vilar Formoso; between Lisbon-Madrid, crossing the frontier at Marvão; and between Oporto-Vigo, crossing the frontier at Valença.

By Coach
There are three companies running services between many European cities and Oporto ( Inter-Norte ), Lisbon ( Inter-Centro ) and Faro ( Inter-Sul ).
By Car
All overland connections go through Spain. However Portugal's annual per capita death rate from road accidents is Europe's highest.
